Garage Sale Trail comes to The Park Centre

| NEWS

Whether you’re looking for some retro bargains, want to de-clutter, or just have some fun, on Saturday, 24 October, The Park Centre in East Victoria Park will be the place to be as it hosts a family-friendly Garage Sale Trail event between 10am to 2pm.

The Park Centre, owned and managed by Hawaiian, will come alive with a Collective Treasures car-boot sale run by the Vic Park Collective, family activities like face painting, circus performers, food and drink stalls, music performances in the undercover car park and environmental workshops taking place inside.

Now in its fifth year nationally, Garage Sale Trail is a not-for-profit community enterprise that aims to promote reuse, reduce landfill waste, create awareness about illegal dumping, unite communities, and stimulate local economies.

“With The Park Centre and the Vic Park Collective involved this is going to be an epic event and I encourage everyone to head down and clear out some unwanted goods or find yourself a bargain.”
