Dream to Be on the green screen for mito!

Dream to Be, is a community event focused around children. It combines fun, superheros and fundraising to help raise awareness of the Australian Mitochondrial Disease Foundation (AMDF) and its effort to beat MITO.

So…Whether it’s Superman, Spiderman or Wonder Woman children are encouraged to come along dressed up as their favourite superhero characters (or choose from our fun prop box) and have your photo taken in front of the green screen on Thursday20 April between 10am and 3pm.

Each photo taken will be transposed onto a superhero background using green screen technology. You’ll be able to take home with you a digital and print copy in exchange for a small donation fee. All money raised will be going back to the AMDF to fund much needed research for treatments and cures of MITO.

Before attending, please make sure to register your choice of superhero background and preferred time on the event registration page here.

What is MITO? It’s a debilitating and potentially fatal disease that reduces the ability for mitochondria, a cell that turns sugar and proteins into an energy called ATP to produce enough energy for our bodies to function.
